Recently, I attended/hosted a bachelorette party in Chicago. It was over St. Patty’s weekend and was absolutely so much fun. So many bottles of champagne. So little sleep.
I really really love a good party favor and decor, so when I had the opportunity to decorate the hotel room before the girls arrived — I may have gone all out.
Tips and Tricks:
-If you know you have a bachelorette party coming up in the year, shop the “Valentine’s Day” decor on February 15th. I have stocked up on heart balloons, party favors, and basic pink and red decor.
– Look to book an activity that the group can enjoy together. We surprised the bride with DryBar appointments before going out for the night. I’ve always wanted to book a Soul-Cycle class, cooking class, burlesques shows, etc.
-Don’t think you have to “plan” every second. Some of the best moments during Bachelorette parties are during the down time. Just make sure that downtime has lots of sparkling beverages 🙂
– Download Venmo or carry cash. It’s the best way to split meals and pay for items in the city. Nothing is more annoying than trying split a bill 8 ways.
