With little travel in the month of February, I have been able to enjoy quite a few quiet nights at home. I am making a serious dent in my ongoing “to-do” list (including a successful closet clean out – thank the Lord).
With Scandal back on TV, I am trying to restrict my Netflix watching #resolutions, so I continually find myself in the bath, with a bath bomb, a glass of wine, and…. a book. I’ve worked my way through my book shelf and looking for my next read. However, when it comes time to finding a new book, I find it really hard to make a decision. Amazon overwhelms me.
Cue: You. Send me suggestions!
Here’s what I’ve read so far in 2017:
Skyfaring: A Journey with a Pilot – NEED to read more pilot books
The Big Magic – I’ve been reading this books for months, finally finished it!
Mademoiselle – The entire life of Coco Chanel, you will learn things you never knew.
The Book of Joy – Such a different, interesting read.
The Cocktails of the Ritz-Paris – Written by Colin Peter Field, the bartender we met at the Ritz Paris (read our story here)
Need a movie day? Get over to Amazon and watch Z. It’s a new Amazon Original series about the life of Zelda Fitzgerald. Ah-Maz-Ing. Take my word, I watched the entire season in one day.
What is at the top of your reading list in 2017?

I’ve just started On the Blue Train by Kristel Thornell. It’s a novel about the 11 days that Agatha Christie went missing back in 1926. So far it’s really good. I’ve just put it up on my Book Club page if you want to read more about it. http://collectivelyme.net/book-club/
