If there is one thing I cannot say no to, it’s Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.. and a glass of champagne. After a long a week or let’s be honest, day, sometimes all you need is a slice of pizza. One of my favorite parts of Chicago is the endless supply of ‘za. No matter what you are craving, there’s a pizza for that.
So, what are you craving?
Deep Dish Chicago Style….
Looking for Chicago’s best? My personal favorite is Giordano’s, but the options are endless: Lou Malnati’s, Pizzeria Uno, Pizzeria Duo, Gino’s East… Not making a trip to Chicago anytime soon? You can now order a pizza online and have it shipped frozen to you! It makes for a fun treat when we travel home for the holidays.
Authentic Italian….
On the other end of the spectrum, there is the perfected thin Italian pizza and Eataly has you covered. Need a pizza to binge watch your current Netflix Obsession? They have a pick-up counter that can prepare your pizza in 15 minutes or less.
A Topping You’ve Never Tried….
When I am looking for something outside my usual Pepperoni Pizza, I find myself at Parlor. They have the most delicious Burrata & Arugula pizza and CRAZY GOOD Monkey Bread. You’ll most likely find me on their rooftop during the summer, attempting to become the next great Ping Pong champion.
Pizza and a Night Out….
I have so many great stories from this place, Happy Camper. Including taking shots from an oyster shell with my waitress. Another story, another day. This restaurant is so freakin’ cool. The tables are located in old campers and the bar is surrounded by tire swings. Maybe the next Girls Night Out spot?
A Full Italian Meal….
Family in town? Want more than just the pizza? Quartino’s is a tapas style Italian restaurant in the heart of Chicago. Not only do they offer top-notch pizzas, there is a robust wine list and endless Italian options.
