I don’t even know where to begin with this post. Except for the fact that I LOVVEE the St. Regis. It’s an experience just pulling up to the front doors and walking into the lobby. Everything you do feels like part of movie. #notreallife
The St. Regis- Rome is actually the oldest hotel in Rome, originally named the Grand Hotel. Every inch of this hotel was pure decadence. The hotel rooms were decorated by famous Italian designers; our room was done by Bogetta Veneta. Talk about perfection.
Once we checked into the hotel, we were escorted to our room, where we met our butler, Massimo. He surprised us with glasses of wine, olives, and some other delicious snacks. I’ll take that warm welcome any day 🙂
Next stop — the concierge desk. We always take full advantage of the any hotel’s concierge desk and their ability to make reservations appear out of nowhere, the St. Regis is no exception. We knew we wanted an amazing seafood restaurant for that night, so we provided our criteria and a reservation was made. (Spoiler: It was an amazing Mom and Pop restaurant that had beautiful outdoor seating. We spent over three hours at dinner.)
Finally, after our night was mapped out, we made our final stop to the hotel bar, Le Grand Bar. Like I mentioned before, one of Nick’s favorite things to do at the St. Regis is taste their signature Bloody Mary, the Bloody Mary Terranean. I think my favorite part of it was all the charcuterie on the pick!
As always, our stay at the St. Regis-Rome was wonderful. They definitely made sure that all ends of the experience were covered and were always waiting with a helping hand.
Favorite Casual Luxury: Breakfast in Bed. With just one call, there is a perfect Cappuccino at your door within five minutes. And let’s not forget about the treats that come with. Definitely on my to-do list while staying at the St. Regis.
What is your favorite place to stay in Rome?
