Let me start off by saying, Pittsburgh is 100 percent the most underrated city in America! I had the BEST weekend, ate the BEST food, and met the coolest (nicest) people. Who knew that such a gem was only a quick hour flight from Chicago (and only $34 dollars!!)
I will be posting guides on “Where to Eat” and “Where to Stay” in Pittsburgh throughout the week, but I figured I would start the posts with my overall favorite attraction: The Andy Warhol Museum.
Few people actually know this, but Andy Warhol was born and raised in Pittsburgh. It is one of the most extensive art collections of a single artist in the entire world. Seven stories filled with iconic Warhol pieces. Ah-mazing.
The museum has a “Good Friday” hosted every Friday. It is half priced admission, a cash bar, and open til 10pm. Definitely a great way to fill some time before dinner reservations!

I love art and art history, so the Warhol museum was a no brainer for me. However, I encourage everyone to visit if you have a chance! It is a lot easier to digest than most museums and has tons of interactive stations (my husband was entertained).
Have you been to the Warhol museum?
