After a couple of friends consulted me on flights, trips, etc., one of them mentioned that I should start sharing the million plus articles that I send out/deals that I find. Selfishly, it will also be a great way for me to organize my findings, and hopefully, I’ll be able to use them to book future trips (I can already hear my husband, “Erin, no more trips in 2016…”) Without our further adieu, my life lately…
Visiting…Lake Keowee, South Carolina
Spent the 4th of July weekend down South, mainly on Lake Keowee in South Carolina. Hands down the most beautiful lake I’ve been too. We lived outside, which means I suffered from some major sunburn.
Eating… on the Grill
This weekend consisted of a lot of homecooked meals. No complaints here. My husband is an AMAZING cook. My favorite: Salmon on the grill with ramp butter, lemon and dill.
We also made this green bean recipe on the side. Improvised with red chili flakes. DE-LIC-IOUS.
Reading… The World’s Best Awards
Travel & Leisure recently released their annual “World’s Best” lists. They cover hotels both continental and abroad, airlines, trips, etc. If you think of a list, they probably have it.
I really enjoyed seeing Bangkok & Chiang Mai on the Top Cities in the World. The St. Regis Rome on the best hotels in Rome. And St. Regis New York on the best hotels in NYC. And overall, St. Regis was on the best hotel chains in the world.

Need to Book… Flights to Europe. Like Yesterday
Flights to Europe are SO. CHEAP. right now. It’s taking all my willpower not to book a trip over Thanksgiving. I am talking round trips under $500 to Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo, the list goes on and on. (Remember: book on a Tuesday!)
