I’m probably not telling you anything you don’t already know when I say Dubai is the most lavish place in the world. It’s even less of a surprise that we found ourselves staying at one of the most lavish hotels I had ever seen: Habtoor Palace, Dubai (formerly the St. Regis Dubai).
If there’s one trip that I get asked the MOST about (and I’ve shared the LEAST), it would easily be my two week trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I have never planned for a trip as much as I did for this one. It needed to be perfect – my parents would be accompanying me to the other side of the world to visit my younger sister. From excursions, to hotels, to which beaches we wanted to visit, I spent HOURS planning this trip.
One of the hardest decisions you’ll be faced with in planning for Dubai: WHERE do I stay? Dubai is filled TO THE BRIM with luxury hotels, beach-side resorts, and everything in between.
Note: While in Dubai, we stayed at two different hotels: the Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina and Habtoor Palace, Dubai.
The Hotel
It’s nearly impossible to put the opulence of this hotel into words. The entire lobby is made of marble. THE ENTIRE LOBBY. The moment you step out of the car, your bags are being sent to your room and you’ll find yourself with a fresh cup of Arabic coffee in hand.
Shortly thereafter, you’ll be shown to your room. Habtoor Palace was recently built and honestly feels like, well, a palace. The rooms are well laid out, featuring the deepest over-sized tub that is every woman’s dream. And let’s not forget about the perfectly laid out closets.
The rooftop pool is very secluded and pristine. While there are no views, it does give you a moment to relax and forget that you are in a sprawling metropolis.
Habtoor Palace is also in the same complex as the Le Perle, Dubai’s first permanent show. You will receive complimentary tickets with your stay and I HIGHLY recommend seeing a show. It is truly awe-inspiring and takes place in a custom built “aqua-theater.”
And then there’s the breakfast. The never-ending breakfast. In fact, you’ll soon learn that Dubai is known for their endless brunch spreads. You’ll find pastries, fresh squeezed fruits, meats & cheeses, and you’ll be able to order just about any breakfast dish you could ever want.
If you want to add a hint of luxury to your stay, experience top-tier amenities, or just want the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of, Habtoor Palace is your hotel.
